Powering the Future of Banking Innovation

As part of the Global Fintech Fest 2026 (GFF 2026), the Department of Financial Services (DFS), in collaboration with the Indian Banks' Association (IBA) and 12 Public Sector Banks (PSBs), proudly presents the second edition of the PSB Hackathon Series–2026 — an initiative to redefine the future of banking through collaborative innovation. This landmark hackathon brings together public sector banking leadership, cutting-edge technology, and emerging talent from across India. Addressing mission-critical challenges, the hackathon focuses on GenAI, Cybersecurity and Fraud Prevention. Throughout this pan-India series, shortlisted teams from leading academic and innovation hubs have collaborated with experts from banks and academia to develop next-generation solutions tailored for real-world implementation.
